We are situated in the heart of the Vipava Valley, surrounded by lush vineyards. The Bric family has lived and worked on this piece of land for centuries — first as the Frlanova farm, today as BRIC Wine & Relax.
Our estate brings together wine, home-grown food, table grapes, accommodation and relaxation. We want to offer an authentic experience of homeliness, peace and nature, where visitors can truly pause and feel the Vipava Valley.
You will be welcomed by Žan, Eva, little Anika and Klara, and grandparents Danila and Ivan. Bric is not just a name on a bottle — it is a family, work, land, patience and pride.

Vine
Caring for the vineyards is the foundation of our work. Around 30,000 vines grow on the estate, producing wines with the character of the Vipava Valley.
Valley
We call the Vipava Valley the sunny valley. Its climate, the bora wind, the sun and the diverse exposures give our wines freshness and distinction.
Hospitality
Alongside wines we offer home-cured meats, tastings, accommodation and relaxation in the spa. With us, wine is part of the whole experience.
Frlanova farm since 1853
A farm where tradition meets the future.
The Frlanova farm in Vogrsko has a long history, its tradition stretching back to 1853. Today it is carried forward by Žan Bric, a graduate agronomist who sees farming as a vocation, a responsibility and a way of life.
The farm covers approximately 15 hectares. About half is dedicated to vineyards, with the rest used for table grape production, home-grown food and self-sufficiency. The farm produces wines under the Bric label, with malvasia, sauvignon vert, ribolla and barbera holding a special place.
A hallmark of the farm is its table grape production. This work demands precision, a great deal of hand labour and the dual thinking of a winegrower and fruit grower at once, as Žan describes it. The goal: large, beautiful, crisp clusters that prove world-class table grapes can be grown in Slovenia too.
We see the future of farming in knowledge, innovation and collaboration. That is why Žan, as president of the Rural Youth Association of the Littoral, stresses the importance of cooperation among young farmers — for it is precisely connection that is the key to a stronger, more vibrant rural future.

Our work rests on a simple belief: good wine needs no shortcuts. It needs healthy grapes, the right moment for harvest, clean work in the cellar and enough time to develop its character.
When processing grapes we take care to preserve the aromatics, freshness and structure of the wine. Every variety calls for a different approach, so we follow each wine individually — from fermentation to ageing.
The result is wines made not just for tasting, but for an experience. Wines that speak of the place, the vintage, the vine and the people who stand behind them.
Wine & Relax
Peace, wine, spa and the valley of sunshine.
BRIC Wine & Relax is a space for complete escape. Alongside superior rooms you will find a spa with an outdoor pool, an infrared sauna and a Finnish sauna, plus a dedicated relaxation area.
The renovated wine cellar is created for celebrations, gatherings, wine tastings and enjoying home-made snacks. Tastings are available by prior arrangement.
The Vipava Valley offers year-round activities: cycling, hiking, paragliding, fishing, trips to the sea or the mountains, and exploring picturesque villages and vineyards.
