On our farm with a long tradition, five generations have been dedicated to winemaking and viticulture.

Two decades ago, we felt that our mission was not only agriculture.

Guests from near and far remind us of the value of long-standing tradition and homeliness, which are deeply rooted in us. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable in a simple rural environment.

We invite you to relax with a glass of excellent wine, homemade food and a family atmosphere.

A visit to natural, cultural and historical sights, accompanied by local cuisine and excellent Vipava Valley wines, can offer you an enriching experience.

With this booklet, we would like to briefly inform you about the house rules and the most important information about our offer. For more information, please contact the BRIC Wine & Relax staff, who will gladly try to answer your questions.

SERVICES

ACCESS TO THE ACCOMMODATION BUILDING

Upon booking, you will receive a four-digit code by email, which opens the main entrance door and the entrance to your reserved room. The code is active from your arrival until 10:00 on the day of departure. Enter the sequence of four randomly assigned numbers on the keypad by the door and press enter ⏎

MEALS

A homemade buffet breakfast is included in the price of the overnight stay. Breakfast is available every day between 7:30 and 9:00. If desired, we can also prepare breakfast earlier. We do not serve other meals, lunches or dinners.

PARKING

You may park your vehicle in the courtyard in front of the accommodation building. Parking is free of charge. BRIC Wine & Relax is not responsible for any break-ins or damage to vehicles parked in the parking area.

ELEVATOR

For safety reasons, children are not allowed to use the elevator without the supervision of a responsible adult. Please do not use the elevator in case of fire.

SHOE CLEANING

A shoe-cleaning machine is available by the main entrance to the accommodation building.

BATHROBE

Please use the bathrobe provided in the wardrobe when going to the spa or pool.

TOWELS

Please do not take towels outside the accommodation area. If you place a towel on the floor or in the bathtub, we will gladly replace it. A towel intended only for sauna use will be available at the entrance to the spa.

POOL

The pool is available to guests staying with us. It may be used during operating hours.

SPA

The spa is private and may be used by guests staying with us. A Finnish and infrared sauna are available. If you would like to relax in the spa, please sign up for a specific time slot. You may also reserve several consecutive slots. Sauna use is not recommended for people with health problems, cardiovascular diseases or under the influence of alcohol.

ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE

The electrical voltage is standard 220V. To turn on the electricity in the rooms, switch on the main switch by the room entrance.

HEATING - COOLING

During the heating season, the building is heated with underfloor heating. If your room is too warm, please contact the staff so the heating power can be adjusted. If your room is too cold, please use the air conditioner to additionally heat the room. During hot months, the room can be cooled with the air conditioner.

DOOR HANGER

In your room, on the hanger by the entrance, you will find a door hanger. You can hang it on the outside of the door to indicate one of two wishes: that you would like the room cleaned or that you do not wish to be disturbed.

LOST PROPERTY

Lost items are sent to your home only at your request and at your expense. Lost items are kept for 3 months.

LAUNDRY AND IRONING

Upon request, we can provide an ironing board and iron in your room. We do not provide laundry services.

SAFE

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. We recommend using the safe in the room. Please empty the safe before departure and leave it open. Instructions for use are located in the wardrobe next to the safe.

WINE TASTINGS

Guided wine tastings are held 3 times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. You can choose a time slot at 14:00 or 16:00. The duration depends on the selected package, on average between 60 and 90 minutes. Wine tastings are not held on public holidays. You must register for the tasting no later than 12:00 on the day of the tasting.

WORKSHOPS

At the guest’s request and with prior notice, we can organize workshops for bread baking and noodle preparation.

Safety

SAFETY

Please take a few minutes to read the instructions, as they may be vital in emergency situations. You probably will not need them, but it is good to be familiar with them.

IN CASE OF FIRE IN YOUR ROOM

If a small fire occurs, extinguish it yourself. Use the fire extinguisher located in the hallway. Make sure the room door is closed. This prevents the fire from spreading through the building. Inform the staff about the fire.

IN CASE OF A MAJOR FIRE

Leave the room and close the door behind you. Hurry to the nearest exit. Call 112 and inform the staff. If there is smoke in the hallway, cover your airways with a damp cloth. Try to breathe as little as possible. Move toward the exit on your knees. Hold onto the handrail on the stairs. If there is a power outage, follow the illuminated signs. Do not panic.

IF YOU CANNOT LEAVE THE ROOM

If the door and handle are too hot, close the door and inform the staff. Use the waste bin as a water container to help wet the doors, windows and walls. Remove curtains from windows and doors. Wet sheets, towels and curtains and use them to seal gaps around windows and doors. If smoke still appears in the room, wet a towel or blanket and place it over your airways. If the smoke becomes very dense, open the window. If you cannot do so, break the glass with an object.

OTHER INFORMATION

If you cannot get through a burning window, wet your clothes with water to protect them from burning. Cover your head with a wet blanket. Try to reach the exit. If your clothes have already caught fire, cover yourself with a blanket and start rolling on the ground to smother the flames. Try to remain as calm as possible.

MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION

MOBILE PHONE

Upon request, BRIC Wine & Relax accommodations can provide a mobile phone for loan. You must obtain the prepaid SIM card yourself.

Instructions for obtaining a prepaid SIM card

By purchasing a prepaid SIM card, you receive a mobile phone number that can be used immediately.

The card can be purchased at Petrol service stations, post offices, newsstands, well-stocked stores and electronics stores.

The prepaid card is valid for 90 days or until the purchased credit is used up.

After 90 days from the last top-up, the card is automatically locked.

Activate the card according to the instructions included at purchase.

INTERNET CONNECTION

Free WiFi access is available in all areas of BRIC Wine & Relax. The username and password for wireless internet access are also listed on the card you received upon arrival.

House rules

HOUSE RULES

CHECK-IN

You can check into your reserved room on the day of arrival between 16:00 and 19:00. Overnight stays by persons who are not registered with us are not allowed.

CHECK-OUT

On the day of departure, the room is available until 10:00. Check-out is possible between 8:00 and 10:00.

EARLY DEPARTURE

We reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the total amount for all ordered and unused services in case of early departure.

NIGHT QUIET

Quiet hours are required between 23:00 and 6:00. Please respect them.

USE OF SPA AND POOL

The pool and spa may be used between 8:00 and 23:00. Use of the pool and spa services is at your own risk. Parents or accompanying persons are responsible for the safety of children. BRIC Wine & Relax is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions, improper use or reduced attention by guests. Please maintain proper hygiene and wear swimwear when using the pool. Eating and drinking in the pool is not allowed. In case of pool contamination due to improper use, vomiting, bringing in food, drinks or other guest actions, we reserve the right to charge the costs of emptying, cleaning, disinfection, refilling and any loss of pool use. Food and glass containers are not allowed in the pool and spa area.

DAMAGE AND REMOVAL OF INVENTORY

Please do not damage, remove or move the inventory. The guest is responsible for damage caused by their own fault, by the fault of persons for whom they are responsible, or by persons who visit them. Damage is charged after departure as compensation. Visits by persons who are not registered in the accommodation are allowed only by prior agreement with the staff. In case of intentional damage, theft of inventory, improper use of equipment or extraordinary soiling of the premises, we reserve the right to charge all costs of cleaning, repairs or replacement of inventory.

PETS

Pets are not allowed in the BRIC Wine & Relax building.

FORCE MAJEURE / TECHNICAL ISSUES

BRIC Wine & Relax is not responsible for temporary failure of internet, electricity, air conditioners, wellness equipment or other services due to technical issues, force majeure or maintenance work.

RURAL ENVIRONMENT

Guests are aware that they are staying in a rural environment where contact with insects, weather conditions and other natural features of the environment is possible.

OTHER INFORMATION

To ensure the safety and pleasant stay of all guests, violent, disturbing or dangerous behavior is not allowed. In case of serious violations, we reserve the right to terminate the stay without refund. For additional information or assistance, please contact the BRIC Wine & Relax staff, who will gladly help you. By confirming your reservation, you confirm that you are familiar with the house rules and undertake to respect them. You may write your impressions in the guest book at any time. We reserve the right to change the house rules at any time.
